Cabo Clasico

	This years contest was again held at Lover's Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After a brief meeting of professional and amateur skimboarder's on Thursday evening, it was agreed that the contest be pushed to Saturday and Sunday due to an incoming swell. The decision to wait paid off as the waves were fantastic for the contest. Big siders, gigantic barrels, insane riding all took place in the cove much to the enjoyment of all the people involved and visiting the beach. New comers Teddy Vlasis and Woody Harris made great strides in the professional ranks and impressed many a person. I know we say it every year but the riding seems to get better and better. The riders seem to be n more control, the tricks seem to go a little higher, the rides last a little longer, and of course each barrel gets dominated. Skimboarding is an art and a difficult sport but the pros make it look easy. Congratulations to all of the winners and all of the participants for making it down to the event.
